Session Details & Booking Information
Session Length and Format
- Famalies can choose between:
45 – 60 minute sessions (ideal for individual or joint sessions)
60 – 90 minute sessions (ideal for joint sessions) - Offered online via Zoom or in-person in Durbanville, Cape Town
How does the process work?
- Family work begins with a session for the parent(s) or adult caregiver(s) only.
This helps us gain a clear understanding of your family’s needs, concerns and goals. - From there, I’ll guide you through the next steps:
In some cases, I may recommend individual sessions for family members before moving to group sessionsWhen the time is right, we will begin group sessions that support connection, communication and co-regulation within the family system
How often should we book?
- Most families start with weekly or bi-weekly sessions
- Typically, 6 – 12 sessions are recommended for meaningful change
- After that, many families shift to as-needed support
Booking & Availability
- New families may begin by booking a parent/caregiver-only intake session
- After that, you are welcome to book as many sessions as you need – booking helps secure your preferred time
- Sessions are available on weekday mornings, with a limited number of afternoon/evening slots.
