About Tinet Paul
A Modern, Compassionate Approach to Growth & Emotional Well-Being
I believe that every person deserves a champion—someone who truly sees them, values them, and believes in their inherent worth. Many of my clients have spent their lives feeling unseen, unheard, or disconnected from themselves. My role is to provide a deeply supportive and accepting space where healing begins and transformation unfolds.
I integrate science-backed approaches with the power of human connection to help my clients break free from limiting patterns, process and integrate past wounds so they no longer define their present or future, and reclaim a sense of calm, confidence, and self-trust. With a strong foundation in trauma-informed psychology, neuroscience, and somatic healing, I work with each client as a whole person—mind, body, and nervous system—guiding them toward meaningful and lasting change.

A Little About Me
Coaching and counselling are serious work, but that doesn’t mean they have to feel heavy. I bring warmth, humour, and a little lightness into the process—because healing doesn’t just happen in deep moments; it also happens in the space of being truly seen and supported. My clients know me as approachable, real, and deeply invested in their journey—someone who believes in their highest potential, even when they’re still learning to see it themselves.”
I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they navigate growth and change. The work we do together isn’t just something I facilitate—it’s something I deeply believe in. Just as I support my clients in their healing and self-discovery, I remain committed to my own personal and professional growth, ensuring that I show up fully for those I serve.
My Philosophy & Approach
I have always believed in the power of a safe and supportive relationship to create change. Whether in my years as a teacher, witnessing students thrive when given understanding and encouragement, or through my own therapeutic journey, I have seen firsthand that given the right environment, human beings naturally move toward greater fulfillment and self-actualization.
As a coach and counsellor, I offer a warm, open, and deeply attuned space for clients to explore their inner world. My work helps clients:
Feel truly seen and heard in a way they may never have before.
Healing and growth, to me, mean knowing that while our past may have shaped us, it does not define our present or our future.
At the core of my work is the Integrative Brain-Based Approach (IBBA), developed by Jeanie Cavè, founder of Impact Therapy Training. This model blends neuroscience, somatic awareness, and relational analysis to support deep and lasting change.
Important Note:
I am not a psychologist or registered counsellor, and my services are not eligible for medical aid reimbursement.
How I work
I take an integrative, trauma-informed, and brain-based approach, working with individuals, couples, and families. My work includes techniques such as:
Hypnotherapy & Subconscious Work
Accessing deep-rooted patterns for profound shifts.
Pointer Work & Eye Position Integration
Tapping into brain pathways for emotional processing.
Somatic Awareness & Nervous System Regulation
Helping the body process trauma and find safety.
Most importantly, I meet each client where they are—because transformation happens in a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported.
My Training & Qualifications
My work is grounded in extensive training in brain-based, trauma-informed, and interactional approaches, allowing me to support clients in emotional regulation, relationship dynamics, and nervous system resilience.
I hold a Bachelor of Applied Social Science in Psychology & Counselling (South African College of Applied Psychology), alongside specialized training in the Integrative Brain-Based Approach (IBBA), trauma-informed coaching, and hypnotherapy.
